Green has been well explored by fashion in recent seasons but given the variety of shades and what each of them communicates to your personal image, we thought it was worth writing a post making you wonder on how to use this powerful colour, and still choose the one that best fits your mood.

In the last fashion weeks, we saw the return of a very common shade of green, which was forgotten. Some brands to add colour to everyday looks are gambling on what, in Brazil, is called the “green flag”.

This is an intense and vibrant green and, for this reason, it is very simple to use, assuming that it will go with many other colours, however it is worth remembering that because it is intense, it is not a tone that goes unnoticed.

How to wear green without being so impactful? The way out is to always opt for darker and opaque versions of the colour. This is even a very simple technique for you to get out of the basic black look and start inserting colour into your looks.

We always need to try to understand what each shade of green communicates to its image, although in general the meaning of colour is hope and refers to nature, we know that intensity and depth are elements that completely change what each shade means.

How to wear green in summer? The answer is to go for the brightest version possible, the so-called lime green or Sicilian lemon! This is a shade of green that lights up, and that’s why it draws so much attention and becomes the protagonist of the look. Because it is a very light and bright version, it is a tone that suits the day more than the night and communicates more casualness as well.

How to wear military green? This question has the simplest answer: with everything! This is a shade of green considered neutral, so just like the universal green, it makes different combinations and is very versatile. Military green is quite opaque and that’s why it ends up being easier to use, since it doesn’t have intensity and doesn’t draw attention. It’s perfect for work looks, for example!

Did you see how even talking about a single colour, it is possible to have different results?

We hope you enjoyed this month’s post!

Until the next!
